Executive Vice President

Executive Vice President Morna Holt began working at Meijer in 1977. She has served as union steward for over seven years and served as an UFCW 951 Executive Board member for 21.

Raised in Muskegon, Holt was born into a union family. Her parents were union members and her father served as shop steward. This background has provided a genuine sense of union advocacy and a passion for the labor movement. She believes education is key for the labor movement and the success of the union.

"Power is in the numbers," Holt said. "And we have the power when we put those numbers into action."

Holt enjoys reading and sewing and is active in her church, its choir and The Nurses Guild.
