Enable Cookies in Internet Explorer
Cookies are small software "tokens" issued by the web server. Your web browser must be able to accept cookies in order view pages in our members-only areas.
The following steps enable you to adjust the Privacy setting that controls Internet Explorer's cookie acceptance policy.
- Open Internet Explorer and choose Tools | Internet Options. The Internet Options dialog box appears.
- Click the Privacy tab.
- Drag the slider up or down to adjust the Privacy setting. The Medium-High setting is appropriate for most people.
- Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box and apply your new settings.
When you log in, our server issues a temporary session cookie that serves as your access key to the members-only areas. We use only temporary session cookies — nothing is permanently stored on your hard drive. The cookie does not contain any personally identifiable information that would enable us to track what pages you view. It only contains an access level code that indicates that you are authorized to view certain members-only pages.
