Workers at Orchard Grove Extended Care Center voted on their first contract. Their votes were tallied on March 23, 2007 with 50 votes in favor of the new agreement, 2 against, and 1 challenged ballot.

Votes on the new Polly's contract were tallied on April 28, 2006. 45 members voted "Yes" ballots, while 6 voted "No."

UFCW 951 members ratify new Rite Aid contract
On December 16, 2005, votes were counted in the Grand Rapids office for a new contract with Rite Aid. 209 members voted "YES," 18 voted "NO," and 9 ballots were void or challenged.

Meijer Benefits Agreement Ratified
In October 2005, UFCW members in Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky working at Meijer have ratified the new Benefits Agreement concerning health care and other benefits. The vote was 4,456 in favor to 2,528 opposed—a margin of sixty-four percent voting yes.

“This pioneering agreement will secure health care benefits for all Meijer workers, including our members, from now through 2011,” said UFCW 951 President Bob Potter. "It assures that more than 2 billion dollars will be available to cover health care costs over that time frame.”

Once more, UFCW 951 has taken on a tough issue like health care and worked in partnership with Meijer to find a solution that benefits both the company and UFCW members
